Green Pass into The Club

Green Pass into The Club

In accordance with the recent directive issued by the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA), from Tuesday 15th June Club Members and their guests will be required to have a ‘green pass’ on the Alhosn app in order to access The Club. This ruling applies to everyone aged 16 years of age and above.

While we expect you will be aware of the situation we need to advise you that we will be implementing this from Tuesday and that it will remain in place until further notice.

Please ensure that you have the ‘green pass before arriving at the Gatehouse in order to avoid any disappointment. Our Gate staff will need to see a ‘green pass’ to allow anyone who is 16 years and older to enter The Club. As this is a government mandate it is not open to negotiation. Regretfully anyone who arrives having left their phone at home/the office, for example, cannot be permitted entry. That said, family members can set up the Alhosn app to access their family members’ status in which case only one phone/device would be needed.

An individual’s status on the Alhosn app will turn grey when the relevant PCR test validity ends. It will turn red when the test result is positive and government isolation procedures will need to be followed.

As per the Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee, the relevant categories are:

Category 1: For those vaccinated who have received their second dose at least 28 days earlier or are volunteers in vaccine trials, a negative PCR test result will see the Alhosn status appear in green for 30 days, as well as show the active icon (letter E or gold star) for seven days.

Category 2: For people who have received their second dose less than 28 days earlier, a negative PCR test result will give green-light status for 14 days.

Category 3: For those who have received their first dose and are waiting for their second dose appointment, a negative PCR test result will see their Alhosn status change to green for seven days.

Category 4: For people who have received their first dose and are late to their second dose appointment by 48 days or more, a negative PCR test result will see the app’s status appear in green for three days.

Category 5: For those with vaccine exemption certificates as per approved processes, a negative PCR test result will see the Alhosn status appear in green for seven days.

Category 6: And finally, for those who are unvaccinated and do not have an exemption, a negative PCR test result will see the app’s status change to green for three days.

Whilst this new ruling may be an imposition for some we hope that by complying with it, we all remain vigilant and get out of this together.
