Club Member, Duncan Richards, is a long-time Club Member, 18 years, and passionate triathlete; he is heading up this amazing sport in The Club. If you want to learn more about this diverse sport and how it can benefit your health and well-being, come along to an introductory meet and greet evening on Wednesday 18th September in the Sports Lounge at 7 PM.

A triathlon is a multi-disciplinary endurance sport consisting of three consecutive disciplines: swimming, cycling, and running. Athletes compete in sequence, with transitions between each segment timed as part of the overall race. Distances can vary widely, but common formats include sprint (shorter distances), Olympic (standard distances), half-Ironman, and Ironman (longer distances). Triathlons require physical fitness, endurance, and strategic planning to manage transitions effectively and complete the course.
