Abu Dhabi Sub Aqua Club (ADSAC) is a sub-section of The Club, founded in 1975, and is one of the oldest dive clubs within the UAE. ADSAC offers section Members the opportunity to dive in the warm waters of the UAE coastline and see first-hand the abundant marine life found within these waters.
The scuba diving in Abu Dhabi Section is highly active and gives Members the opportunity to dive most weekends of the year. We encourage Members from 12 years and above to join, and welcome divers from any recognised diving organisation.

WHERE WE DIVE
As a club, we choose the dive sites, and we base our decisions on the ability of the divers on board that day. Locally, there are wrecks and reefs we access from Abu Dhabi, and depths range from 5m to 27m. But we don’t just stop in Abu Dhabi waters, we organise trips further afield to Fujairah, Musandam and the Damaniyat Islands. More excitingly, we organise international trips, and before the pandemic, 22 of us journeyed to the Philippines.
SOCIAL DIVING
Abu Dhabi Sub Aqua Club prides itself as a community-focused club. We learn and share our diving experiences and skills. A fun part of the section is our organised social events and beach BBQ trips, so all friends and family members can join in the fun. On the last Tuesday evening of each month, we hold our monthly social, during which we organise dives, and training, and answer any questions from members who want to find out more about the sport.
LEARN HOW TO DIVE
Abu Dhabi Sub Aqua Club is affiliated with the British Sub Aqua Club. The Club’s Members can join one of the regular training courses for beginners as well as sessions of more advanced levels of instruction leading to BSAC qualifications. Sheltered water training takes place in The Club’s main pool.

ALREADY QUALIFIED
Abu Dhabi Sub Aqua Club welcomes diving members of any recognised diving organisation – there is no need to become or maintain BSAC membership to dive with us. We take the approach that we can all learn from each other’s experience and can all benefit from seeing how different diving organisations operate. If you do wish to advance your training with us, you simply crossover over to the equivalent BSAC grade and continue your training with Abu Dhabi Sub Aqua Club.
