New CSR Initiative launched: Project Heavy Days
Supporting Women. Sustaining Care. Leading with Purpose. This is The Club’s Project Heavy Days.
At The Club, care goes beyond facilities and services. It begins with people. It is reflected in how we listen, how we support, and how we respond to the everyday realities of those who make our community what it is.
What is Project Heavy Days?
Project Heavy Days is a meaningful CSR activation born from this belief, demonstrating our commitment to gender equity, genuine staff wellbeing, and responsible, sustainable practices. By addressing a real and often overlooked need with empathy and intention, this initiative reinforces our promise to create a workplace where every individual feels respected, supported, and valued every day.
This initiative is designed to support The Club’s female staff by ensuring reliable access to sanitary pads during their heavy days, removing discomfort, stress, and stigma from something that should always be handled with dignity and care. Each female Club Staff member will be receiving Lizzom organic pads every month.
Delivered in partnership with Lizzom, a UAE-groomed woman-owned period care solution company in MENA region that provides sanitary pads and liners that are 100% certified organic and biodegradable, making clean and eco-friendly period products.
This collaboration marks a significant breakthrough for The Club, reinforcing our role as a workplace that actively practises gender equity while embracing sustainable solutions. By choosing organic and biodegradable products, the initiative also aligns with our broader environmental responsibility, supporting women’s health while reducing environmental impact.
Why call it Project Heavy Days?
Simply because some days carry more than just work. Some days carry real, personal needs. Project Heavy Days acknowledges those moments with empathy, ensuring care, comfort, and support are always within reach.
The Club believes in naming realities, not tiptoeing around them. The project embraces honesty, normalises conversations around periods, and turns awareness into practical support, without stigma or silence.
More than a CSR activation, Project Heavy Days is a statement of care. It reassures our female staff that they are valued not only for their professional contributions but as individuals whose well-being truly matters. Through initiatives like this, The Club continues to foster an inclusive, respectful, and supportive environment where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered.
The Club extends its sincere appreciation to Chanda Lokendra, Founder of Lizzom, whose vision, leadership, and commitment to women’s wellbeing were instrumental in bringing this partnership to life. Her dedication to providing accessible, sustainable, and dignified period care solutions has played a pivotal role in turning Project Heavy Days into a meaningful and lasting initiative at The Club.
