UAE National Sailing Championships 2024 at The Club
We are proud to share with you the images of the spectacular UAE National Sailing Championships 2024 which concluded last weekend 16th & 17th November, hosted by the Abu Dhabi Sailing Club here at your second home and in collaboration with U.A.E Sailing and Rowing Federation.
The competition took place in the challenging waters between Reem Island and Saadiyat Island, where sailors faced Spring super tides and winds gusting over 25 knots. Throughout the event, nearly all participants completed seven races, exemplifying their determination and sailing prowess.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan Mohammed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation and President of the Middle East and West Asia Sailing Federation, graced the event. As a Member of the Directors of World Sailing for the 2025-2028 Olympic Cycle and Chairman of World Sailing Council Group I for MENA and South Asia, he presented prizes to the winners from UAE, Qatar, UK, New Zealand, USA, and Poland.
